David Sturm:
David Sturm is the founder of Attention to Detail Home Remodeling. He was born and raised in Northern New Jersey and as a teenager, David got plenty of hands on experience with his Dad remodeling old Victorian homes. An Avid cyclist, cook, traveler and outdoors lover, David has called Atlanta his home for over 30 years.

“I founded this company with the understanding that remodeling your home is a unique undertaking. With surgical demolition, air scrubbers and Hygienic Zip Walls, we go the extra mile to keep your home safe and comfortable; a complete contrast to a typical construction site. Our aim is to exceed expectations and we earn our client’s trust by way of exceptional performance. One of the many reasons I started my own business was while working for other construction companies there was a the lack of attention to detail. Craftsmanship, communication and just the love of it is just a small part where we excel.”
David became a Chef in the early 80's working at Pano and Pauls, Bones, and Trotters besides his own cafe. “Being a chef really gives me the understanding of seamless kitchen design and real life functionality.”
In 2007, David Sturm was the first of only three Georgians to achieve the CKBR (Certified Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeler) designation. In the same year, David Sturm also earned his CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist) with an emphasis in universal design techniques. David’s other certifications include Deck Installation through the Trex Company Program, installing and troubleshooting Tankless Water Heaters by Rinnai and the Schluter Tile and Waterproofing Innovations Course through the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation.
David understands the importance of preserving the solid reputation he and his company have earned over the years. His philosophy of surrounding himself exclusively with great individuals is embodied in a devoted team of accomplished professionals, who produce successful projects with outstanding client satisfaction.

Calypso (right): Calypso adopted David and Alison in 2002 when David was doing rehabs in downtown Atlanta. She had been abandoned. They took her in and she has been a great partner ever since. She is a very smart dog that loves walks, removing the stuffing from her toys and belly rubs. Mrs. Winners Fried Chicken (which we don't give her anymore) and enjoys playing in the back yard with her new friend Jazz. Calypso is a thinking Alpha female. Sometimes when you are hard at work, she will lay her head on your leg to let you know she is there.

Jazz (left): Jazz Came into David and Alison's lives on Memorial Day, 2010 when Jazz's Mom and she escaped the kennel. The owner was so grateful for the return of both, that she gave the then 3 month old Jazz to the couple. Jazz is the complete opposite of Calypso. Jazz enjoys her toys and loves the involvement of her teammates at the office. She loves to play all the time and is a lover. She also enjoys being an office dog and looks forward to new people daily. Every day is fun and exciting to her.
